ABSTRACT

Information overloading is a rising problem. Looking for some information in WWW is like searching for a needle in a haystack. With all available information reaching required information faster is a necessity. User interface in a web browser plays a main role in this process. Agents are helpful software entities we can use to making this task easy. In this paper we introduce WIFA an Agent for Web surfing and discuss how it reduces information overload and improve efficiency to reach a goal based on image oriented abstractions. Our attempt is to find collaboration between web user interfaces and Agent technology towards successfully resolving the problem of information overloading.
